New Pine Forest Community Garden Needs Your Help!
Pine Forest Country Club will soon have a new
community garden to help feed people in need in our community. Ten year
old Pine Forest resident, Katie Stagliano, has been working to feed
people in need in our community by starting vegetable gardens and
donating the harvest to a local soup kitchen. The Quaker Company
has rewarded Katie's effort with a grant that will help start a garden
in Pine Forest Country Club. The garden will be located on the
triangle on Glen Eagles.
Mac's Lawn service has generously agreed to till
the land, but more help is needed. If you are able to help by
assisting with the tilling (or have a tiller that can be used), moving
top soil and compost, putting up fencing, planting or maintaining the
garden please contact the Stagliano family at 832-6009
